Greetings and welcome to the Traveling Day Trader Blog, hosted by Scott Randy Gerber. Having spent years in various management and leadership roles, I reached a point where I sought a change of pace. Opting for a slower lifestyle, I initially moved to the Orlando area. However, after two years of witnessing the homeless situation and encountering a generally unpleasant atmosphere, I decided it was time to bid farewell to Orlando.

The tipping point came when my lease in Orlando was set to increase by five hundred dollars a month. That was my cue to explore other options. I secured a transfer to a educational position in Clearwater and settled near Clearwater Beach, a decision I’ve never regretted. Unfortunately, the company I worked for wasn’t fulfilling its payroll commitments, leaving me owed six thousand dollars in back pay. Frustrated and determined, I decided to leave the company and take a well-deserved break.

This break led me back to day trading, a fact that surprises visitors to my home greeted by the sight of three computer monitors ablaze. The inevitable question arises: “What are you doing?” After repeating the intricacies of day trading numerous times, I decided to consolidate my insights into a blog for everyone’s convenience.

A crucial disclaimer: I am not an investment adviser. For those venturing into day trading, thorough preparation is key. Start with a paper account, practice diligently, and ensure you are well-prepared before risking your own money. It’s important to acknowledge that ninety percent of day traders face challenges, so conduct your due diligence before diving into trading.

Thank you for embarking on this journey with me. Stay blessed, everyone!
